Acumatica Integration Services - Connect Any System to Your ERP

Ecommerce, CRM, EDI, WMS, payments, shipping, and legacy systems. Built on the Acumatica REST API with retry logic and monitoring. Fixed price after technical review.

A distributor was rekeying every ecommerce order into Acumatica by hand, then rekeying the tracking number back out. Two staff, roughly six hours a day between them, and a steady trickle of transposition errors reaching customers.

We connected the storefront to Acumatica for orders and customers, wired inventory and pricing back the other way, and pushed fulfilment and tracking to the storefront and the 3PL on the same schedule.

Live in 7 weeks. The rekeying disappeared, and the integration has processed every order since without manual intervention. Failed records are held and replayed rather than lost.

How We Build Acumatica Integrations

1. InquiryTell us which systems, which direction, and how often. We respond within 24 hours.
2. Technical reviewWe map the fields, check both APIs, and confirm the volume. Free.
3. Fixed-price quoteBinding, with the sync scope and the schedule written into it.
4. BuildDeveloped against your sandbox and the vendor's test environment, never against live data.
5. UATYou run real transactions end to end and sign off before cutover.
6. CutoverMonitored go-live with a rollback plan, then 30 days of support included.

What Happens When an Integration Fails

Most integrations are quoted on the happy path and then break quietly at 2am. Everything we build ships with the failure path already handled:

  • Retry with backoff - transient API and network failures retry automatically instead of dropping the record.
  • Dead-letter queue - records that cannot be processed are held with their full payload, not discarded.
  • Replay - once the cause is fixed, held records are reprocessed in order. No manual rekeying to catch up.
  • Alerting - email or webhook notification on failure, so you hear it from the system and not from a customer.
  • Monitoring view - a screen showing what synced, what failed, and why, readable by your team without a developer.
On middleware. We use Celigo, Boomi, or similar where they already exist in your stack or where the volume justifies the licence, and we build directly against the Acumatica REST API where they do not. The recommendation comes out of the technical review and is based on your volume, the number of systems, and who maintains it long term. We have no reseller interest in any middleware platform, so the advice is not for sale.

Integration Capacity for Acumatica VARs

Integrations are the work VARs most often hand off, because they need API depth on both sides and a support plan for the day one of them changes. Envinse provides white-label Acumatica development for exactly this: we build and document the integration under your brand and full NDA, you deploy it and own the client relationship.

Weighing a fixed-price build against putting an engineer inside your own team? Compare white-label development and Acumatica staff augmentation before you pick a model.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does an Acumatica integration take to build?

A single-direction integration against a well documented API, pushing orders into Acumatica for example, typically takes 2 to 4 weeks including UAT. A bi-directional integration covering inventory, pricing, and fulfilment is usually 6 to 10 weeks. Legacy systems with no API take longer because the connection method has to be established first. You get a fixed price and a date after the technical review.

Can Acumatica integrate with a system that has no API?

Usually yes. Where there is no REST or SOAP API we integrate through scheduled flat-file exchange, direct database reads against a replica, or a small middleware service that wraps the legacy system. The approach is decided during the technical review, and the trade-offs of each are explained before you approve a quote.

What happens when an integration fails at 2am?

Retry logic with exponential backoff handles transient failures. Records that cannot be processed go to a dead-letter queue with their full payload so they can be replayed once the cause is fixed, rather than being lost. You get an alert on failure and a monitoring view showing what synced, what failed, and why.

Do you use middleware like Celigo or Boomi?

Where they already exist in your stack or where volume justifies the licence cost, yes. Otherwise we build directly against the Acumatica REST API. The recommendation comes out of the technical review and is based on your transaction volume, the number of systems involved, and who maintains the integration long term.
